Training   Course

Description

Performance Team Working Session Designed for international organizations or units, such as home   office teams, that are in the process of taking on major outcomes.  The course is especially good for groups   undergoing a strategic planning process or a strategic overhaul, taking on   newly expanded missions or higher new business performance. This two-day   course allows participants to examine “business as usual” compared with   taking on extraordinary results.  The   Performance Team looks at communications, listening, and commitments.  It enables the team to set out the   extraordinary outcomes and breakthroughs to which it is committed and to   create a workable plan for their achievement.
Power of the Team Working Session Constructed for the field project team that has never worked together   before and desires cohesive, harmonious actions.  Especially useful for FORWARD   Initiative-based teams, it establishes the team’s foundation based on values   and authentic behavior.  Numerous team   exercises help the team achieve true functionality and workability and   envision the how they will achieve extraordinary outcomes through the   project. Course is designed to lead to first-year project planning sessions,   involving local participants.  Can be 2 or 3 days in length.
Monitoring and Evaluation Training Course Designed for today’s renewed focus on monitoring and evaluation, it distinguishes   monitoring and evaluation; examines the Theory of Change hypothesis as a   basis for project monitoring plans; reviews common constraints to good   M&E; discusses different data collection methods and analysis;  distinguishes evaluation methodologies from   performance to impact evaluation; and explains reporting techniques to   maximize learning from projects.
Technical Proposal Writing Designed for home office new business teams, who want to raise their award   competitiveness,  this course   covers:  proposal team structuring;   proposal calendar; RFP/A review and proposal outlining including use of   outcomes  and benchmark results; conceiving   extraordinary and effective project result concepts; editing for outcomes, clarity   and active voice; and red team review procedures.
An Enquiry into Effective Development Examines the various phases of projects: design, planning,   implementation and monitoring and evaluation to distinguish those practices   that will deepen and ensure effective outcomes. (In Development)
Local Leader Development Directed to the local leaders who will make a major contribution to a   project or effort to improve their community’s lives.  Each course delivery is adapted to local   contexts and integrates transformational concepts that will enable crucial   local leaders to listen to and lead their community members to greater   prosperity.
